Amigurumi is the ancient Japanese art of knitting or crocheting things that are cute or, if you will, “kawaii”.
Here, I have crocheted an amigurumi mushroom. I shall make a place for in amongst the clutter of my desk.
I can’t decide whether or not to give it googly eyes.

I picked up some texture mediums on a trip through the US and this is me testing them out.
By the by, if anyone has a large format scanner they don’t need anymore, I could haul it away for you, maybe?

These are some glass beads that I made.
Basically, you take those cylinders of glass on the right, melt them with a very hot flame, wrap the molten glass around a mandrel and hope that you don’t burn and/or set yourself on fire.
